Autoridades regionales entregaron ambulancia para Sama Atacama
Este miércoles el Servicio de Atención Médico y Urgencias (Samu) Atacama, recibió una ambulancia valorada en $94.123.695; la entrega la hizo el Consejo Regional (Core) para potenciar la atención prehospitalaria que se ofrece desde la Red Asistencial.
La nueva ambulancia cuenta con mampara y puerta de interconexión entre cabina conductor y cabina sanitaria; además de doble Air-Bag, traccion 4X4 y sistema de anclaje de equipos especiales. Todo esto permite llevar incubadoras neonatales, pacientes en sillas de ruedas u otro tipo de dispositivo médico crítico que requiera estar asegurado ante un traslado a alta velocidad.
La presidenta del Core, Rut Vega, dijo que este importante proyecto aprobado contempla móviles y su respectivo equipamiento para facilitar tanto la atención de los pacientes como el trabajo de los funcionarios.
Claudio Baeza, director del Servicio de Salud, aprovechó la ocasión para hacer un reconocimiento al trabajo que han realizado los integrantes del Samu durante la pandemia y otras situaciones de urgencia que han ocurrido en la región.
Agradeció también al Consejo Regional por el importante aporte, ya que fortalecen “nuestra Red Asistencial para continuar con el funcionamiento de nuestros equipos profesionales”. En tanto la gobernadora de la Provincia de Copiapó, Paulina Bassaure, dijo que esto “responde a las coordinaciones permanentes que realiza el gobierno con el Consejo Regional”.
Por su parte, Vega agradeció a los funcionarios de salud por la importante labor que cumplen y a las personas que trabajaron en estos proyectos para que rápidamente tuvieran aprobación. Explicó que se trató de un trabajo en conjunto entre Servicio de Salud, el Consejo Regional y el Ejecutivo.
