Atacama registró 21 nuevos casos positivos de Coronavirus
El Ministerio de Salud entregó el informe en que da cuenta del avance de la pandemia del Coronavirus en la región de Atacama.
Indica que ayer jueves 2 de julio se reportaron veintiún nuevos casos positivos, que se desglosa de la siguiente forma:
13 en Copiapó.
5 en Vallenar.
2 en Freirina.
1 en Caldera.
Puntualiza que el Laboratorio de la Universidad de Atacama procesó los exámenes para su posterior confirmación. La Autoridad Sanitaria continúa con el seguimiento y vigilancia de los veintiún casos en la región.
Es así que con esta confirmación, la Región de Atacama actualmente registra 1.119 casos positivos de Coronavirus.
Cabe señalar que estas cifras presentan un desfase debido al proceso de validación a nivel nacional del Ministerio de Salud. Es importante aclarar que ello no representa un retraso en la atención, estudio epidemiológico y seguimiento de los pacientes y sus contactos.
Las autoridades de Salud reiteran el llamado a la responsabilidad y a extremar las medidas de prevención, como el lavado frecuente de manos con agua y jabón, el distanciamiento físico, no salir de sus hogares, salvo que sea estrictamente necesario y el uso de mascarillas en transporte público, ascensores y en lugares con más de diez personas.
