Atacama Kozan alcanza un 10% de mujeres en su dotación propia
En la conmemoración del Día Internacional de la Mujer, la empresa reafirma su compromiso con la inclusión y equidad.
SCM Atacama Kozan realiza un trabajo continuo y permanente para reforzar la incorporación de mujeres en su dotación propia, “a la fecha, la participación de mujeres en diversos cargos de la operación -operadoras, mantenedoras, supervisoras y jefas de división- alcanza un 10%, y sólo en cargos de supervisión es superior al 11%”, según lo indicado por David Olivares Giroux, Gerente de Administración de la Compañía.
El Sub-Gerente General de A.K. Jorge Guerra señaló, “para S.C.M. Atacama Kozan, es una oportunidad abrirnos a la incorporación de mujeres, nos encontramos trabajando para ser parte del establecimiento de nuevas condiciones que posibiliten este cambio cultural, que es trabajar por la inclusión, equidad y generación de mayor participación femenina en un sector tan masculinizado como la minería”.
Luego de un periodo prolongado de pandemia que frenó significativamente el avance en la participación laboral femenina, Atacama Kozan refuerza su compromiso con la generación de oportunidades para los habitantes de las comunidades que los acogen sobre todo mujeres y jóvenes.
En tanto, en el día de hoy, con una actividad interna conmemoraron el Día Internacional de la Mujer en Atacama Kozan
En este espacio se reflexionó en torno a los esfuerzos y desafíos de la industria minera en general y de Atacama Kozan en particular por promover la inclusión de fuerza laboral femenina; contó con la presencia de parte de las mujeres mineras de Atacama Kozan, quienes ocupan diversas posiciones dentro de la organización, operadoras, mantenedores, supervisoras, jefas de división, entre otras.
Jorge Guerra G., Subgerente General, en representación del equipo ejecutivo de A.K. reforzó el compromiso de la empresa por la inclusión, equidad y generación de mayores oportunidades.
