Aprueban un total de 3 mil millones de pesos para sondajes en la pequeña minería de Atacama

Este martes fue aprobado en forma unánime la inversión de recursos del FNDR, para el programa “Transferencia de Campaña Sondajes Provincial Pequeña Minería” de la seremi de minería. Dichos fondos corresponden a 3 mil millones de pesos.

Ruth Vega, presidenta del CORE Atacama destacó que estos recursos eran esperados: “por los mineros quienes nos habían solicitado un proyecto de sondajes para poder optimizar sus labores productivas”, reconociendo la contribución “en el empleo local y el dinamismo que otorgan a la economía de los territorios. Esperamos que esta importante inversión sea distribuida en forma igualitaria a productores mineros de las tres provincias de la región, considerando que se beneficiarán a 150 faenas mineras mediante 20 mil metros de sondaje diamantina”.

Por su parte el Seremi de Minería, Cristian Alvayai, comentó que “la labor que hemos realizado con la pequeña minería y minería artesanal de Atacama, gracias a los recursos aprobados por el Gobierno y el Consejo Regional, sin duda ha sido histórica”.

El Seremi explicó que “este programa beneficiará a 150 faenas mineras, con la ejecución de 20 mil metros de sondaje en total. Esta campaña les permitirá a los productores aumentar su certidumbre antes de hacer cualquier labor de avance de metros, ya que, con la información aportada por los sondajes, sumada a la asistencia técnica geológica, topográfica, análisis químico y mineralógico por parte de nuestros profesionales, podrán aportar a la reactivación de la actividad productiva de nuestra región y también, a nivel nacional, a través de la mejora de la calidad de la producción que incidirá fuertemente en la contratación de mano de obra, lo que permitirá encaminarnos hacia la recuperación económica de la región”, finalizó la autoridad.
