América supera a Europa y se convierte en la región con más casos de coronavirus
El continente americano superó en las últimas horas a Europa en número de casos de covid-29, con 1,74 millones frente a los 1,73 millones del Viejo Continente, según las estadísticas de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS).
Europa era desde mediados del mes de febrero el «epicentro» de la epidemia, en palabras del propio director general de la OMS, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, pero el mayor número de casos diarios en las últimas semanas, con países como EEUU, Brasil, México, Perú o Canadá especialmente afectados, ha provocado que América le superara.
