El miércoles el diario Récord de México encendió las alarmas sobre Nicolás Castillo. El medio le dedicó su portada al delantero chileno y aseguró que el nacional podría estar un año alejado de las canchas después de la trombosis que puso en riesgo su vida y que sufrió tras someterse a una operación para corregir la ruptura del tendón femoral.                            

Sin embargo, en el club del atacante nacional, el América, salieron al paso sobre esta situación y aseguraron que la recuperación del atacante podría ser más corta de lo que se dice.                                                                                                                                      “La situación de Nicolás Castillo no es tan grave como lo ha dicho la prensa.
