Alcalde de San Bernardo contrario a un nuevo «Juan Pinto Durán» en su comuna
El alcalde de San Bernardo, Leonel Cádiz, manifestó su rechazo a la construcción de un nuevo complejo deportivo «Juan Pinto Durán» en la comuna, señalando que el proyecto de la ANFP y el Ministerio de Bienes Nacionales desconsideró la opinión de los ciudadanos del sector.
A través de un comunicado, el jefe comunal señaló de forma categórica que «rechazamos la instalación en nuestra comuna de un centro de la ANFP. Lo anterior tiene que ver con la desconsiderada forma de decidir sobre un proyecto en nuestra comuna, sin preguntarla a la gente y decidiendo por encima de las personas que viven en San Bernardo».
«Mis esfuerzos van en el orden de aumentar las áreas verdes, mejorar la infraestructura de servicios para los vecinos, optimizar la movilización y mejorar los sistemas de salud y educación de la comuna. En este contexto, destinar un espacio de 17 hectáreas de área verde para intervenir con cemento y hormigón, y construir un edificio corporativo de la ANFP, con canchas y otras dependencias, va en el sentido contrario a lo que San Bernardo necesita«, precisó.
