Aguas Chañar prevé culminar obras en terreno antes del inicio a clases

De los planes de ejecución que tiene la compañía de servicios públicos, uno podría extender su plazo. Se trata de la intervención que se realiza en la avenida Copayapu, frente al Líder.

Quedan 15 días para que los alumnos que cursan la enseñanza básica y media regresen a las aulas de clases y todavía varias calles de la comuna de Copiapó están -de alguna manera- inhabilitadas por los trabajos en terreno que desarrolla la compañía de servicios sanitarios Aguas Chañar, desde hace algunas semanas.

No obstante, y a pesar de que ninguna de las obras queda exactamente en las cercanías de algún establecimiento educacional, la proyección de la empresa es que los trabajos terminen -a más tardar- el 29 de febrero, de acuerdo con lo que explicó Sebastián Espinoza, jefe de Comunicaciones Comunidad.

El único que podría tener una extensión de plazo es el de la avenida Copayapu, frente al supermercado Líder, donde el personal ejecuta sus acciones durante el día y en la noche tapan las excavaciones para habilitar el tránsito.

Los demás, de la calle Talcahuano, en casi toda su extensión, desde Chañarcillo hasta Infante, aproximadamente; O’Higgins frente la plaza de Copiapó; Yerbas Buenas y Maipú en sus respectivas esquinas con la avenida Circunvalación y Lautaro, en la población Borgoño, cerca de la Compañía General de Electricidad (CGE), deberían culminar en el tiempo estimado.

Espinoza explicó que estas intervenciones se proyectaron, precisamente para el verano porque es cuando hay mejor flujo vehicular, tomando en cuenta las vacaciones escolares; “son trabajos que su ejecución se pensó para esta fecha por temas viales (…) la idea nuestra es que previo al inicio de clases ya estén finalizadas”.

La compañía de servicios de agua potable tiene pleno conocimiento que hay rutas, como las de Circunvalación y O’Higgins, que son bastante transitadas porque son las que mayoritariamente ocupan las personas para movilizarse en sus vehículos, sobre todo con el retorno de las actividades escolares.

En ese sentido, “lo ideal es que nosotros salgamos antes que comiencen las clases, porque nuestras obras consideran, además, bastante cerco de madera para protección y seguridad. Por eso también tenemos instrucciones de que los trabajos no estén en lugares donde se realizan manifestaciones”.

Hay que recordar que los planes de ejecución que desarrolla Aguas Chañar en Copiapó son dos; uno es el de mejoramiento de agua potable para purificar su calidad; lo que requiere que, aparte de las plantas ya instaladas, se hagan distintas conexiones de tubería en la ciudad, que es lo que se realiza en Copayapu y Circunvalación.

“Son conexiones para distribuir de mejor forma el agua potable una vez que mejoremos la calidad con la ampliación de nuestras plantas, cuyos están casi terminados; ahora en terreno falta un poco”, comentó Espinoza.

El otro plan tiene que ver con el mejoramiento de la red de agua potable que se aplica todos los años para renovar las matrices que ya han cumplido un ciclo; “durante cierto período la empresa hace un estudio y evalúa qué matrices necesitan ser cambiadas porque, o tienen mucha rotura o cumplieron su vida útil y con base a eso se hace la intervención”.
