Adolescente cae al Río Mapocho en medio de protestas en Plaza Baquedano, Carabineros niega participación
Un joven de 16 años cayó la tarde de este viernes al río Mapocho, a la altura del Puente Pío Nono.
El hecho se registró en las inmediaciones de Plaza Baquedano, lugar donde se reportaron enfrentamientos entre Carabineros y manifestantes.
Se investigan las causas de lo ocurrido, aunque testigos apuntaron a funcionarios de Carabineros como los responsables de la caída. Dicha información fue descartada por la policía uniformada, quienes señalaron que se realizó la denuncia a Fiscalía, a esta hora, distinto videos que muestran lo ocurrido se analizan.
Unidades de Bomberos y una ambulancia del SAMU llegaron rápidamente al sector para rescatar al joven. Fue llevado hasta un centro asistencial. Tendría ambas muñecas fracturadas.
