6 nuevos fallecimientos por COVID-19 elevan el total a 168 en Atacama
El Servicio de Salud de Atacama informó los lamentables fallecimientos de seis personas afectadas por Coronavirus en la Región de Atacama.
Los pacientes de 60, 63 y 77 años se encontraban internados en el Hospital Regional de Copiapó. Los pacientes de 57 y 76 años se encontraban internados en el Hospital Provincial del Huasco. En tanto, el sexto paciente de 69 años se encontraba bajo seguimiento y atención médica de los equipos de Atención Primaria de la comuna de Copiapó.
Pese a los esfuerzos de los equipos de salud, los pacientes fallecieron debido a las complicaciones provocadas por esta grave enfermedad.
El Servicio de Salud expresó sus más sentidas condolencias a las familias y seres queridos ante estos complejos momentos.
Finalmente indicamos que sus residencias corresponden a las comunas de Copiapó, Vallenar y Freirina. De esta manera, nuestra Región de Atacama registra 168 personas que han perdido la vida debido a la actual pandemia.
