Presidente Piñera lamenta balacera en Maipú y anuncia proyecto de ley para combatir el crimen organizado
El presidente de la República, Sebastián Piñera, se refirió sobre la balacera ocurrida durante la tarde del martes en Plaza de Maipú que dejó a 4 personas lesionadas y una mujer fallecida.
Ante el hecho, lo calificó como “trágico” y lamentó la muerte de la mujer de 59 años apoyando a la familia de la víctima y garantizándoles apoyo.
“¿Qué más tiene que ocurrir para que el Congreso apure de una vez por todas la agenda de seguridad?”, señaló. Asimismo se refirió a que “necesitamos tanto como el aire que respiramos mejores herramientas e instrumentos para combatir la delincuencia, narcotráfico y crimen organizado”.
“Apuremos la Ley que permite modernizar a Carabineros de Chile y a la Policía de Investigaciones, apuremos la Ley de Control de Armas, y la ley que nos va a permitir combatir la delincuencia que creará un nuevo Servicio Nacional de Inteligencia”, agregó.
