4.220 nuevos casos y se registran 53 fallecidos en la última jornada por Coronavirus
Ayer sábado el Ministerio de Salud, a través de su titular, Jaime Mañalich, entregó un nuevo balance sobre la situación del coronavirus en el país, anunciando un total de 4.220 nuevos casos diarios en la última jornada.
Además, se informó el fallecimiento de 53 personas, por lo que la cifra total de decesos desde el inicio de la pandemia alcanza a los 997 en el país.
En cuanto a los contagios, 3.736 fueron de forma sintomática y 484 asintomáticos, alcanzando los 94.858 de manera total desde el inicio de la pandemia.
Por otra parte, se indicó que 40.431 personas se consideran como recuperadas, mientras que 1.372 se encuentran en Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos.
De ellas, 1.152 están utilizando un ventilador mecánico (quedando 345 disponibles) y 306 se consideran en estado crítico.
También se informó que en la última jornada se realizaron 16.814 exámenes PCR en todo el país, alcanzando una totalidad de 563.320 desde el inicio de la pandemia en el país.
