Tras denuncia ciudadana fue detenido conductor en estado de ebriedad

Un hombre de 65 años de edad fue sorprendido por Carabineros de la Subcomisaría Caldera manejando en estado de ebriedad en horas de la noche del domingo, por plena avenida costanera de Bahía Inglesa.

Este hecho que causó conmoción por parte de los transeúntes que disfrutaban del atardecer de la costa, motivó a uno de ellos a realizar la denuncia al Fono Emergencias Policiales 133 y de esta forma evitar un accidente de tránsito ante una evidente conducción errática.

Fue así que, gracias a la denuncia ciudadana, el personal policial se trasladó raudamente al lugar, constatando la veracidad de lo señalado por el transeúnte, dado que el conductor fue encontrado en evidente estado de ebriedad.

Posteriormente el infractor fue trasladado a la unidad policial para practicarle la prueba respiratoria, negándose a dicho examen, motivo por el cual fue puesto a disposición del Juzgado de Garantía de Caldera para la audiencia de control de detención, por el delito de conducción en estado de ebriedad.

LLAMADO:

El oficial de servicio de la Subcomisaría de Carabineros en Caldera, Subteniente Felipe Martínez Verdejo formuló un llamado a la ciudadanía y en particular a los conductores a la responsabilidad y a evitar conducir si se ha ingerido bebidas alcohólicas.

“Debemos reiterar a la ciudadanía la responsabilidad que le cabe al momento de sentarse frente al volante y conducir un vehículo. La ley prohíbe la conducción bajo la influencia del alcohol, pero además todo conductor debe tomar conciencia el peligro al que se expone, así como también a los demás ocupantes de las vías. Es por este motivo, que aunque parezca majadero y reiterativo insistimos con nuestro llamado a la responsabilidad y precaución en la conducción”, manifestó el Oficial de Carabineros.
