SML entregó causa de muerte de Mauricio Fredes
El Servicio Médico Legal (SML) dio a conocer la causa de muerte de Mauricio Fredes, quien falleció el viernes tras caer a una fosa en medio de las manifestaciones en Plaza Baquedano.
En primera instancia se habló que el hombre de 33 años había fallecido producto de un shock eléctrico, sin embargo, el SML informó que la causa de muerte fue asfixia por sumersión.
Los restos de Fredes fueron entregados el domingo a sus familiares y posteriormente fue velado en la casa de su abuela, en La Pintana.
Mauricio Fredes, según los antecedentes, escapaba del carro lanzaguas de Carabineros cuando cayó a una fosa de casi dos metros de profundidad -perteneciente a Enel- que contenía cables con electricidad y agua en su interior.
El tío de la víctima, Luis Cordero, encargado de reconocer el cuerpo, sostuvo que según el SML el cuerpo de Fredes no presentaba daños atribuibles a terceros.
