Sindicato N°6 de Codelco y municipio de Diego de Almagro instalan barrera sanitaria en Inca de Oro

*La entrega, es fruto de una alianza estratégica del municipio con distintas empresas de la zona y se orienta a proteger a la comunidad en la pandemia.

En la jornada del viernes santo se concretó otro avance para la comuna de Diego de Almagro en relación a las medidas contra la Pandemia del Coronavirus, con la entrega por parte del Sindicato N°6 de Codelco, de un container totalmente equipado, que permitirá a los funcionarios y funcionarias de salud que se encuentran en el cordón sanitario implementado por el municipio en Inca de Oro, brindar una mejor atención a las personas que circulan por ese sector de  la comuna.

En este contexto, el presidente del Sindicato N° 6, Francisco Luna, destacó el aporte . “Esa es la idea, cuando uno es capaz de centrar el mismo fin y poder aportar es genial y esto nos demuestra que se puede. Para el Sindicato N° 6 y sus asociados a los cuales represento, eso es un honor, poder aportar un pequeño granito de arena en el control”.

En tanto que el alcalde de la comuna de Diego de Almagro Isaías Zavala, valoró el trabajo conjunto con los trabajadores del Sindicato. “Ante el susto que se están llevando todos los trabajadores y las familias, ante la nula reacción del gobierno, que mejor que los trabajadores dirigidos por el sindicato N°6, además del apoyo del personal de la municipalidad, vamos a hacer una gran barrera sanitaria, que hoy está instalada, pero creo que con este material,  vamos a dignificar un poco más la labor que tienen  mujeres y jóvenes que están día a día, controlando que ojalá, la pandemia no llegue a la comuna de Diego de Almagro”.

EQUIPAMIENTO

Cabe destacar que el container está dividido en dos habitaciones, uno que servirá de camarín, implementado con duchas, lava manos y otros implementos de aseo, para los trabajadores de salud que se encuentran en el lugar. En tanto, el otro espacio es para la implementación de una oficina y para atención del público que diariamente transita por el lugar.

“La idea es que pueda llegar electricidad y agua al contenedor, por lo que hacemos el llamado a los que puedan aportar en Inca de Oro, porque está listo para ser utilizado”, destacó el presidente del Sindicato N°6 Francisco Luna.

ASOCIATIVIDAD EN EMERGENCIA

Uno de los elementos que ha caracterizado al municipio liderado por Isaías Zavala, es la capacidad de aunar esfuerzos y criterios, para lograr que la pandemia impacte lo menos posible en la comuna. A los procesos de sanitización se une el trabajo de los cordones sanitarios y estos contenedores, aportan de gran forma a ese trabajo.  Al respeto la concejala María Torrejón, quien preside de la comisión salud del municipio señaló. «Este tipo de equipamiento para la barrera sanitaria de Inca de Oro, es fruto de una alianza con el Sindicato N° 6 de Codelco, que busca en todo momento ir en apoyo de nuestros trabajadores. Estamos felices porque este container totalmente equipado, permitirá una labor mucho más protegida a los funcionarios y funcionarias que se encuentran en la barrera. En este sentido, es deber de todos seguir trabajando y aunando esfuerzos para que la comunidad esté protegida en la emergencia».

Finalmente, Patricio Pacheco, Director de Salud del Municipio, destacó que, “esto es lo mejor que puede pasar, que el municipio a través de nuestro alcalde, tenga un contacto con los sindicatos de Codelco, puesto que es lo mejor que puede pasar si pensamos en nuestra gente”.
