Servicio de transporte gratuito en Alto del Carmen beneficiará a otros 62 escolares
Cerca de 28 millones de pesos serán entregados por el Ministerio para garantizar la conectividad de estudiantes a los sectores apartados de la comuna.
(Por Frenny Kelly Granado). Unos 62 estudiantes de los sectores más apartados de la comuna de Alto del Carmen resultarán beneficiados con el servicio gratuito de locomoción escolar para el cual el Ministerio de Transporte y Telecomunicaciones inició un proceso de licitación.
Aproximadamente 28 millones de pesos anuales de la Ley Espejo se destinarán a las regiones para financiar la subasta que busca dar continuidad al recorrido que garantiza la conectividad diaria a estudiantes de las escuelas Ricardo Campillay Contreras, Fronteriza y Algarrobilla, durante el año 2020.
El Secretario Regional Ministerial (Seremi) de Transporte, Vittorio Ghiglino Bianchi, invitó, a través de un comunicado de prensa, a los operadores de transporte a participar del proceso que tendrá plazo hasta el 22 de noviembre.
De igual forma informó que los interesados deberán ingresar a la página web http://www.dtpr.cl:8070/WebPage/TE/, registrarse y seguir los pasos del instructivo de postulación publicado en el mismo portal.
Una vez cumplido esta parte de la postulación, los aspirantes tendrán que acercarse a la Seremi de Transportes y Telecomunicaciones ubicada en Chacabuco #546, edificio Copayapu, departamento 21 del segundo piso, Copiapo, para presentar los antecedentes necesarios.
También deben estar seguros de que cumplen con las condiciones de la normativa vigente para prestar este tipo de servicios.
Los servicios de transporte escolar subsidiado 2020 buscan ofrecer comodidad y seguridad a los estudiantes de estos tres establecimientos con los recursos de la Ley Espejo, de acuerdo con lo que detalló el Seremi.
Asimismo pretende completar el total de los recorridos de Transporte Escolar Gratuito que operarán el próximo año en la región, porque la mayoría de los servicios que actualmente están en funcionamiento tienen -por contrato- continuidad automática para el año escolar 2020.
La autoridad recordó que, con el subsidio de 641 millones entregados durante 2019, 23 servicios estuvieron en operación de este tipo y, por ende, beneficiaron a un total de 830 estudiantes de localidades rurales de la región.
