Una serie de sismos se percibieron en la provincia de Copiapó, en la noche del jueves y madrugada de ayer viernes, causando la natural preocupación y alarma en la comunidad.

De acuerdo al informe de Sismología de la Universidad de Chile, los movimientos telúricos registrados en la zona fueron los siguientes:

22.30 horas: 4,2 grados, a 15 kilómetros al SurEste de Caldera.

00.06 horas: 3,4 grados, a 27 kilómetros el SurEste de Caldera.

00.36 horas: 2,5 grados, a 27 kms. al SurEste de Caldera.

02.03 horas: 3.0 grados, a 27 kms. al SurEste de Caldera.

02.16 horas: 2,9 grados, a 27 kms. al SurEste de Caldera.
