Primer retail en implementar esta tecnología en todo Chile: Ripley lanza innovador sistema de pago a través del celular para agilizar la compra en todas sus tiendas

  • Se trata de Ripley Pago, una aplicación web a través de la cual los clientes podrán escanear los productos con su smartphone y pagarlos sin necesidad de pasar por la caja.
  • Este sistema, diseñado por la fábrica digital RipleyTech, es único en Chile, y entregará a los consumidores una real experiencia omnicanal, rápida y sin contacto.


Un nuevo paso está dando Ripley para potenciar la omnicanalidad al interior de sus tiendas. Desde este 29 de julio está disponible en todas las tiendas de Chile el sistema Ripley Pago, una innovación que permitirá a los clientes realizar sus compras utilizando solo su celular, sin pasar por la caja.

A través de una aplicación web, a la que se accede mediante un código QR que estará desplegado en varios puntos de la tienda, los usuarios podrán escanear el código de barra de los productos que deseen adquirir con la cámara de su celular y realizar en la misma app la compra con su Tarjeta Ripley o Chek. Luego solo queda sacar las alarmas de los productos en cualquiera de los puntos de retiro de la tienda y listo. De ese modo, los clientes podrán comprar sin contacto, tendrán una mayor autonomía y se reducirá de manera importante el tiempo promedio de permanencia en las tiendas.

Este sistema pionero en Chile, entregará a los clientes una real experiencia omnicanal y agregará valor a cada visita que hagan a la tienda. “En Ripley siempre estamos innovando e incorporando nuevas tecnologías para entregar el mejor servicio a nuestros clientes. Con Ripley Pago las personas podrán ahorrar tiempo al transformar sus teléfonos en una caja personal y además tiene la ventaja de reducir el contacto durante el proceso de compra, lo que es muy valorado en el actual contexto sanitario”, explicó el gerente de Operaciones y Ventas de Ripley, Nicky Osorio.

Ripley Pago fue diseñado por la fábrica digital Ripley Tech, el equipo de desarrollo tecnológico interno de la compañía que está generando soluciones ágiles y eficientes, que realmente tengan impacto en el negocio, se adapten a la realidad local. Esto permite acelerar los tiempos de transformación digital de la compañía y desarrollar innovaciones como Ripley Pago que responden con mayor velocidad y flexibilidad a las múltiples necesidades del consumidor de hoy.
