Presidente Piñera anuncia descuento en la tarifa eléctrica de calefacción para 10 comunas del país
El Presidente Sebastián Piñera, acompañado por el ministro de Energía, Juan Carlos Jobet, autoridades y parlamentarios de la Región de O’Higgins, anunció el plan de reducción de la tarifas de calefacción electrica para diez comunas del país.
Tal medida, parte de la estrategia de transición energética residencial impulsada por el Gobierno, busca ayudar a descontaminar las ciudades del centro-sur del país.
Dicha iniciativa ofrece una tarifa eléctrica menor para incentivar el uso de calefacción eléctrica en reemplazo de la leña. El plan comienza -en una primera etapa- en 10 comunas con alto nivel de concentración de material particulado (MP 2,5) o con programas de recambio vigentes: Coyhaique, Puerto Aysén, Osorno, Temuco, Padre Las Casas, Los Ángeles, Chillán, Chillán Viejo, Rancagua y Machalí.
La solución permitirá que más de 87 mil hogares del centro-sur del país puedan acceder a una tarifa de calefacción eléctrica que incluye un descuento especial.
