Patricio Encina escritor copiapino lanza su primer libro “Arrecife”

Patricio Encina Escalante (Copiapó 1991) se apresta a lanzar su primer trabajo literario, bajo el alero de Ediciones Tierra Culta. “Arrecife” (2021) es el nombre de este poemario, atravesado por la relación costera que desentraña el autor desde el puerto de Caldera, en la región de Atacama y sus diversos desplazamientos, ya sea dentro de Chile como en otros continentes. En sus 26 poemas se afirma la voz de un poeta que se inspira en el mar y como nos comenta el mismo autor, este libro “surge de la idea de reunir todas esas potencias en una comunidad, en un sentimiento marino, el sentimiento coral”.

El lanzamiento del poemario “Arrecife” se realizará hoy sábado 02 de abril en una actividad al aire libre en calle Infante 631, en la ciudad de Copiapó. Durante la jornada se desarrollará una feria de emprendedores, organizada por Revista Tierra Culta con apoyo del Municipio y el Departamento de Cultura, desde las 11.00 hasta las 19.00 horas. Esta será una actividad gratuita y familiar, donde además habrá música en vivo, lecturas poéticas, entre otras dinámicas. Aquí conocemos más sobre este autor.

A los 18 años te integraste a la Sociedad de Escritores de Copiapó (SEC). ¿Nos podrías comentar acerca de esa experiencia? ¿Qué autores conociste? ¿Con quiénes aún mantienes algún tipo de lazo?

“La Sociedad de Escritores organizó el concurso de poesía joven “Romeo Murga”, en el que participé. No obtuve ningún lugar, pero en cambio, me contactó Cristóbal Malebrán Santander, para invitarme a participar de la SEC. Según recuerdo, dijo que Rosabetty Muñoz tuvo buenas palabras para mis poemas. Fue un buen empujón en el momento y participé de diversas actividades como lecturas, talleres y finalmente una publicación. Tengo bonitos recuerdos de las personas que conocí durante ese tiempo: Tatiana Mayerovich, Carolina Mayerovich, Fernando Rivera, Víctor Munita, Pía Barros, Mirta Colman, Giselle Naranjo, Vicente Rivera, Alberto Lira, Juan Walter Matus, Cristóbal Malebrán, Paula Bécquer.

Nos juntábamos los miércoles y en más de una oportunidad -por no decir varias- nos pasábamos después de reunión a tomar unas chelas. Una vez me escribieron un justificativo para mi mamá por llegar tarde a la casa. Hay que recordar que yo todavía iba al colegio. En algún lugar están guardadas esas hojas. Aún mantengo contacto con Víctor y Vicente”.

Tu primera publicación fue una autoedición bajo el formato de fanzine llamado “La oferta mundial”. ¿Nos podrías comentar acerca de qué se trata y cómo fue la experiencia de “hacerlo tú mismo”?

““La oferta mundial” fue una publicación que surgió del trabajo con Matías Lillo, que en ese entonces trabajaba con su editorial Demo Libros, potenciando el trabajo de artistas emergentes. En ese sentido no sé si referirme a “La oferta…” como autoedición, porque efectivamente con Matías Lillo nos juntábamos a revisar los textos. Ya se ven temas a los que sigo acudiendo como el cotidiano, la micropolítica, el desarrollo del humor”.

Entre la escritura de “Arrecife” y su publicación, pasaron casi cinco años. Estuviste viviendo en el puerto de Caldera, en la región de Atacama, donde “se ensamblan gran parte de los textos” de este poemario. Que el primer poema se titule “El Mar” y se lo dediques a tu familia, refiriéndote a «este libro que habla del mar», señala quizás el tono costero de tu trabajo. ¿Cuánto de Océano Pacífico u otros, tiene “Arrecife”?

“Intento llevar el mar a lo escrito porque es de las cosas que más he experimentado en la vida. “Arrecife” surge de la idea de reunir todas esas potencias en una comunidad, en un sentimiento marino, el sentimiento coral. Del estado del mar surge nuestra vida terrestre y quise tener esa base muy presente en la obra. Tipos de arrecifes hay varios, este libro no toma el coral como el único, pero sí como uno de los más importantes”.

Tu libro tiene un trabajo también de Javiera Cuevas, artista visual residente en Caldera. ¿Qué te pareció el trabajo pictórico que acompaña a “Arrecife”?

“Soy un admirador del trabajo que hace Javiera y poder contar con ella para el diseño me hace feliz. Tuvimos una muy buena comunicación con lo que queríamos transmitir y gracias a ella el resultado y experiencia visual de “Arrecife”, alcanza nuevas profundidades. Fue un agrado compartir con ella más allá del ámbito de la amistad y poder conocer de cerca su obra. Le agradezco mucho a ella y a todo el equipo de Tierra Culta”.

¿Estás trabajando en alguna propuesta artística, ya sea desde el ámbito literario, o musical, que es otro de tus intereses? ¿Nos podrías adelantar algo?

“La poesía y la música son actividades que desarrollo continuamente. Siempre escribiendo canciones, siempre escribiendo poemas. En cuanto a la música, no tengo nada anticipado, más allá de seguir creando y compartiendo con mis amistades. Espero pronto poder desarrollar un proyecto musical más sólido que pueda escapar de la esfera privada en la que actualmente se encuentra”.

“En cuanto a la literatura, estoy trabajando en textos que conformarán un segundo poemario. En estos nuevos textos sigo explorando el mar y el cotidiano, aunque también se está tejiendo un nexo más fuerte con el humor, los sueños y el amor”, concluye señalando.
