“Operación Vaticano” de Carabineros O.S.7 Atacama dejó 12 detenidos

La presencia de un vendedor de drogas en los barrios trae consigo delitos asociados a robos, agresiones o hechos violentos que incluso en algunas ocasiones llegan al homicidio. Por este motivo, Carabineros del OS7 Atacama no sólo centra su trabajo antidrogas para detectar el tráfico de grandes cantidades, sino que también despliega esfuerzos operativos, de inteligencia policial e investigativos para detectar y neutralizar los focos de microtráfico y así evitar la circulación de drogas en las calles y pasajes.
Bajo este trabajo especializado y en coordinación con el Ministerio Público, Carabineros del OS7 concretó un nuevo operativo antidrogas justamente orientado a atacar el microtráfico y poner a disposición de la justicia a quienes se dedican a este ilícito.
Así lo destacó el Prefecto de Atacama, Coronel Farid Sales Castro, en un punto de prensa donde estuvo acompañado por el Coordinador Regional de Seguridad Publica Arturo Urcullú Clementi.
Procedimiento “Fue a través de un proceso investigativo de Carabineros de la Sección O.S.7 Atacama denominado “Operación Vaticano”, el que permitió esta intervención barrial en 11 domicilios de la Población Juan Pablo II, en la comuna Copiapó (en el contexto del programa social del Gobierno “Barrios Prioritarios”). Producto de ello se logró establecer y desarticular estos grupos dedicados a la comercialización de sustancias ilícitas, donde se incautaron 845 gramos 600 miligramos de Marihuana equivalente a 1.692 dosis avaluada $ 5.076.000 aproximadamente; 214 gramos 700 miligramos de Pasta Base de Cocaína, equivalente a 645 dosis avaluada $1.290.000 aproximadamente. Además se incautaron $ 2.593.000 pesos en dinero en efectivo producto de las ventas de drogas”.
Más adelante agregó,”durante el operativo también se incautó una pistola a fogueo, marca Bruni, calibre 9mm.; un cartucho de escopeta, calibre 12, marca GB, sin percutir; 8 teléfonos celulares y un Motor de motocicleta, marca Benelli, modelo TNT25, con encargo vigente y un Automóvil marca Nissan, modelo 370Z, utilizado para comisión de delitos”.
Detenidos: Conforme al proceso investigativo denominada “Operación Vaticano” de la Sección O.S.7 Atacama, en la intervención antidrogas a 11 domicilios de la Población Juan Pablo II, comuna Copiapó, se logró la detención 12 personas (10 hombres y 2 mujeres), quienes fueron puestas a disposición de loa tribunales: R.A.R.G., 26 años, chileno, con antecedentes penales y orden vigente, por el delito de Robo en Lugar Habitado; J.F.M.C., 24 años, chileno, con antecedentes penales; R.A.M.V., 26 años, chileno, con antecedentes penales; E.R.R.S., 70 años, chilena, con antecedentes penales; C.A.S.S., 42 años, chileno, con antecedentes penales; B.C.S.Z., 65 años, chilena, con antecedentes penales; A.I.R.A., 31 años, chileno, sin antecedentes penales; C.M.Q.M., 35 años, chileno, con antecedentes penales; B.I.S.B., 26 años, chileno, sin antecedentes penales; M.N.A.S., 19 años, chileno, con antecedentes penales; M.C.G., 33 años, chileno, con antecedentes penales y A.R.H.B., 43 años, chileno, sin antecedentes penales.
