Minsal: 2.287 nuevos casos de COVID-19 y 9.020 personas fallecidos
El Ministerio de Salud reportó que en el país se registraron 2.287 nuevos casos de COVID-19, de los cuales 1.752 tuvieron síntomas, 399 fueron catalogados como asintomáticos y 136 no fueron notificados a la autoridad. En total, han existido 343.592 contagios y 18.403 se mantienen activos.
Señala además que hubo 106 fallecidos según la información del Departamento de Estadísticas e Información de Salud (DEIS). La cantidad de víctimas fatales asciende 9.020.
Indica también que hay 1.612 pacientes hospitalizados, de los cuales 1.312 están conectados a ventilación mecánica y 245 están en un estado crítico. Hay 504 ventiladores disponibles.
Precisa que en las últimas 24 horas se hicieron 18.133 test de PCR para detectar el coronavirus, de un total de 1.504.844 exámenes hechos desde el inicio de la crisis sanitaria. En cuanto a las residencias sanitarias, hay 161 a nivel nacional con 11.034 cupos totales.
