Ministra de Minería hace evaluación tras cierre de Ventanas y paro de Codelco: «Han habido muchas fallas comunicacionales»

La ministra de Minería, Marcela Hernando, reconoció este viernes que tanto en el Gobierno como en Codelco se cometieron errores comunicacionales durante el anuncio del cierre de la Fundición Ventanas, recalcando que el diálogo con los trabajadores debió comenzar antes de dar a conocer la decisión de poner fin a la planta. En entrevista con Tele 13 Radio, la secretaria de Estado señaló que «estamos bastante contentos porque hoy estamos dialogando con los trabajadores y queremos su participación, sobre todo en la tramitación del proyecto en esta parte prelegislativa, en la cual queremos incorporar aquellas cosas que a ellos les interesa cautelar en la ley».
No obstante, advirtió que en el proceso «han habido muchas fallas comunicacionales de todos nosotros y yo creo que hay que hacer ese mea culpa, cuando el directorio de Codelco toma su determinación de comenzar el proceso y establece en su comunicado que debe ser un proceso con los trabajadores y que se debe formar esa mesa».
«Yo creo que fue la reacción de rechazo a este anuncio el que impidió el diálogo desde el principio, pero eso que debería haber partido hace una semana y que estaba escrito en ese primer día, por fin logramos que se produzca ayer. Así que, desde ese punto de vista, decir que estamos en lo que tendríamos que estar», indicó.
