Marco Antonio Maturana, candidato a gobernador regional de FREVS: “Queremos una Atacama que sea primero para las atacameñas y atacameños”

Confirmada ya su candidatura por nuestro medio, el psicólogo Marco Antonio Maturana, que será el candidato a la gobernación regional de Atacama que representará a la Federación Regionalista Verde Social (FREVS) en las elecciones del 11 de abril, expuso, en conversación con Diario Chañarcillo, sus principales propuestas a la ciudadanía de cara a su postulación al cargo:

“Estamos muy felices, porque la esperanza de una gobernación elegida democráticamente, ahora es posible,  y también porque como partido podemos ser parte de este evento histórico que nos otorga la posibilidad y también la responsabilidad de hacer una buena gestión política para Atacama”, indicó.

“Nuestra propuesta de gobierno regional se enmarca en los valores y principios del regionalismo, esto implica la participación de todas y todos los habitantes de la región de Atacama, a través, por supuesto, de sus representantes gremiales, sociales, colectividades profesionales, que en las conversaciones que hemos sostenido en esta examinación que hemos hecho de la región, manifiestan la necesidad de contar con una región moderna, que atienda las necesidades que la población tiene, por ejemplo lo relacionado con la salud, incluyendo la salud mental, hemos visto que la salud mental es primordial, y no se toma en cuenta, sobre todo en este contexto de pandemia que atravesamos”, comentó.

“La reactivación económica, y el rescate de la economía local, incluyendo planes para el desarrollo del turismo incluyendo el astronómico y paleontológico, las energías renovables no convencionales como la producción de hidrógeno verde, y el compromiso del sector minero y agrícola para la contratación de mano de obra local”, expresó el candidato.

“En las necesidades habitacionales, tenemos también una deuda pendiente, para dar viviendas dignas, proyectos a los que hay que darles mucha atención, además del fortalecimiento de un sistema educativo inclusivo y de la calidad que necesitan nuestros jóvenes, y que incluya conectividad a nivel regional, telefonía e internet, y también, dignidad para nuestros adultos mayores”.

“Proponemos una gobernanza transparente, proba, rigurosa y austera, que realce nuestra cultura ancestral, ligada a nuestras naciones originarias, y a la plurinacionalidad, que otorgue espacio de poder a las mujeres y que respete a nuestros animales, en definitiva, queremos una región que termine con los vicios de la mala política, y que dignifique la vida de todos nuestros vecinos y vecinas, una Atacama que sea primero para las atacameñas y atacameños”.
