Magallanes levanta la copa de campeón nacional de Futsal Escolar y saca pasajes para el Sudamericano de Brasil

Este sábado en la tarde paró de rodar el balón de la Final Nacional de Futsal varones sub-14 de los Juegos Deportivos Escolares del Ministerio del Deporte e Instituto Nacional de Deportes, jugada en durante 5 días en Copiapó y Caldera, levantando la copa del campeón la región de Magallanes, representada por el Liceo Gabriela Mistral de Puerto Natales, quienes competirán por Chile en los Juegos Sudamericanos Escolares de Brasilia.

La Seremi del Deporte, Arling Guzmán, y la Directora del IND, Maritza Vera, encabezaron la ceremonia de premiación junto a los representantes de la PDI y Carabineros, y felicitaron a las delegaciones de todas las regiones del país por ser parte de esta fiesta del deporte que congregó a más de 200 deportistas en Atacama.

“Como Mindep-IND estamos muy contentos de haber organizado de muy buena manera estas Finales Nacionales de los Juegos Deportivos Escolares en la disciplina de futsal, tanto en damas hace 2 semanas atrás, y los varones que acaban de terminar, porque los cerca de 400 deportistas que visitaron nuestra región, tendrán un muy buen recuerdo de la buena organización, como también, de los hermosos paisajes que pudieron ver con ocasión del Desierto Florido. Igualmente, como Gobierno del Presidente Gabriel Boric, agradecemos a los establecimientos educacionales, a las familias y a los jóvenes, por ser parte de la Cultura del Movimiento que estamos impulsando como Ministerio, porque con estos Juegos ha quedado demostrado que el deporte es un gran espacio de desarrollo, crecimiento y formación de nuestra juventud”, señaló la Secretaria Regional Ministerial, Arling Guzmán.

En la ocasión, se premió al equipo ideal de los Juegos que quedó conformado por Vicente Jerez de La Araucanía (Mejor Cierre); Iván Rosas de Los Lagos (Ala derecha); Reinaldo Muñoz del Maule (Mejor Ala izquierda); John Mansilla de Magallanes (Mejor Pivot); Juan Pizarro del Maule (Mejor arquero); Adrián Aravena de Tarapacá (Goleador) y Francisco Andrade de Magallanes (Mejor jugador del campeonato).

El segundo lugar fue para Araucanía (Liceo Pablo Neruda), tercero se ubicó Maule (Liceo Luis Cruz Martínez) y el cuarto puesto lo obtuvo Los Lagos (Colegio Domingo Santa María)

El DT de Magallanes, César Fernández, señaló cuáles fueron las claves del éxito del equipo natalino: “Fueron 10 meses de trabajo, todos los días, en vacaciones, no le sacamos al pie al acelerador. Esto es fruto del trabajo de los muchachos, al entrenamiento, a la disciplina. Seguimos con el patrón de tener una buena marca, tuvimos la mejor defensa. Ahora feliz, tengo a mi hija hospitalizada y me ha tocado estar acá lejos, pero ya está”.

El técnico del Liceo Pablo Neruda de Temuco, Sebastián Gajardo, se refirió al desempeño de su región en estos Juegos, al llevarse la copa del vicecampeón: “Lo único que me queda son palabras de felicitaciones a los muchachos, por darlo todo en la cancha, hasta el último minuto. Lamentablemente perdimos, hay que felicitar a los chicos, a sus familias a sus profesores por haber llegado hasta acá”.

Por su parte, el técnico del Maule, Cristian Quero, habló sobre el resultado obtenido en el Nacional Escolar: “Esperábamos ser campeón, pero para ser nuestro primer nacional, fue una linda experiencia, esperamos volver nuevamente. Creo que la organización estuvo perfecta y los recintos excelentes. Le dedicamos este resultado a las familias de los niños, de los profesores y a la región del Maule y a la gente de Curicó”.
