La deportista chilena Karen Gallardo brilló en el Grand Prix Sudamericano de Atletismo y obtuvo la medalla de oro en la competencia de lanzamiento de disco.
Gallardo realizó una ejecución de 55.70 metros mientras que Bravo, hizo lo propio con una distancia de 52.48 metros.
En la misma competencia, la nacional Catalina Bravo se quedó con la presea de plata, cerrando una gran jornada para el Team Chile en el evento que se está desarrollando en Argentina.
