Karateca Benjamín Mansilla ocupa el séptimo lugar en Turquía
Felicitaciones al deportista atacameño, Benjamín Mansilla, quien es parte del Programa Promesas Chile del Mindep-IND Atacama, por el séptimo lugar obtenido en la Youth League de Karate disputada en Estambul, Turquía.
El joven karateca copiapino perteneciente al «Team Atacama» que apoya el Gobierno Regional, compitió en la categoría Junior Kumite, -76 kilos, y en su pool venció al irlandés Anes Chaal para luego caer en tercera ronda con el polaco Bartosz Kedziersk. En el repechaje, Benjamín derrotó al suizo Lennox Doberstein y perdió con Viktor Shevchenko.
Felicitamos a Benjamín (Aska) y a su técnico Promesas Chile, Miguel Soffia, como también a la técnico Verónica Pávez que fue parte de la delegación.
