Intendente: más de $ 1.600 millones serán distribuidos en las nueve comunas
El intendente Patricio Urquieta informó que más 1.600 millones de pesos del Fondo Solidario Solidario Municipal que fue aprobado por el Presidente Sebastián Piñera este martes, serán distribuidos en las nueve comunas de la región para que los alcaldes puedan fortalecer las capacidades de ayuda que tienen con las familias más vulnerables.
Dijo que además de estos recursos los jefes comunales también cuentan con los aportes del Gobierno Regional, el Ministerio de Salud y otras instancias, para que puedan hacer frente a los desafíos que suponen esta pandemia.
De igual manera afirmó que solicitará una reunión con el ministro de Minería, Baldo Prokurica, para evaluar las condiciones en las que se puede apoyar en el desarrollo de la operación minera, a propósito del anuncio de Codelco de suspender el proyecto de Rajo Inca; “creemos indispensable que los proyectos de inversión puedan llevarse adelante porque son empleos para la gente”, sostuvo.
Finalmente recordó que este fin de semana comenzará la segunda entrega de 35 mil cajas de alimentos en la región, de las cuales 18 mil estarán destinadas para la comuna de Copiapó; enfatizó que este es un trabajo conjunto que se realizará con los alcaldes. (FKG)
