Con el foco en la optimización del uso del agua, y continuando su apoyo a los usuarios de agua y el mundo agrícola, la Comisión Nacional de Riego (CNR) reitera su llamado a los regantes para que presenten sus proyectos al llamado 20-2021 “Concurso nacional de tecnificación y obras civiles para los pueblos originarios”, que cuenta con $100 millones para las iniciativas presentados por pequeños productores y organizaciones de usuarios de agua (OUA) del Norte Chico.

En esta línea, el Coordinador Zonal Norte Chico de la CNR, Felipe Ventura, recalcó que “pueden participar pequeños productores agrícolas Indap, pequeños productores agrícolas No Indap, productores agrícolas en general u organizaciones de usuarios de pequeños productores agrícolas Indap y No Indap, donde las Comunidades Indígenas también pueden participar”.

“Recordemos que tanto en la región de Atacama como en la de Coquimbo tenemos un número importante de pueblos originarios, especialmente collas y diaguitas, así es que esperamos una buena participación. A nivel nacional se disponen de $1.700 millones, en tanto, las regiones del Norte Chico cuentan con $100 millones que fueron asignados en su grupo. Reiteramos la invitación a nuestros usuarios para participar de la Ley de Riego y presenten sus iniciativas de tecnificación de riego y obras civiles de riego, con o sin telemetría, tan relevantes para hacer más eficiente el uso del agua en el riego”, enfatizó Felipe Ventura. Mientras que el Seremi de Agricultura de la región de Atacama, Patricio Araya, recordó que “este concurso nace de un acuerdo entre el Gobierno Regional de la Araucanía y la Comisión Nacional de Riego, en que se hace un reconocimiento a nuestros pueblos originarios, que viven de la agricultura y requieren apoyo para mejorar sus sistemas de riego y así hacerlos más eficientes.  Este concurso les permitirá postular en igualdad de condiciones con otras comunidades y/o productores. Por lo tanto, hago un llamado a que presenten sus proyectos y aprovechen este beneficio que les otorga nuestro Ministerio a través de la CNR”.

Las postulaciones a este llamado deben realizarse únicamente a través de la página de la CNR, www.cnr.gob.cl  hasta las 23:59 horas del 3 de agosto de 2021.
