Hallan cadáver en sector precordillerano de Copiapó
La madrugada de este martes el Grupo de Operaciones Policiales Especiales (Gope) de Carabineros localizó el cuerpo sin vida de una persona aún no identicada.
(Por Frenny Kelly Granado). Sin mayores detalles la Fiscalía de Atacama informó este martes en la tarde que inició una investigación por el hallazgo de una persona fallecida en el sector precordillerano de Copiapó.
El cadáver fue localizado por el Grupo de Operaciones Policiales Especiales (Gope) de Carabineros que arribó al sitio tras recibir la notificación del hecho.
El fiscal de turno, Renán Gallardo Angel, informó que la tarde de este lunes un integrante de la comunidad indígena Coya, que habita en Copiapó, tomó contacto con personal policial para informar que en una zona de difícil acceso estaba el cuerpo de una persona de quien desconocía la identidad.
Debido a las condiciones del lugar los funcionarios subieron hasta el sector la madrugada del martes y lograron conversar con el testigo que informó sobre el hallazgo, pero no fue sino hasta la tarde cuando llegaron al punto exacto donde estaba el cadáver.
Hasta ahora no saben su identidad y la Fiscalía tampoco reveló si se trata de una mujer o un hombre. Asimismo, no mencionó nada respecto del estado del cuerpo; es decir, si tenía poco o mucho tiempo. Esto a propósito de la inmediatez con la que comunicó la información.
Gallardo aseguró que cuando el personal policial retorne se conocerán los detalles. Mientras tanto ordenó diligencias a la Brigada de Homicidios de la Policía de Investigaciones (PDI) para que indague el caso y establezca la identidad de la víctima.
