Fiscalía obtuvo pena de 9 años de cárcel por delito de homicidio frustrado en Vallenar

La Fiscalía de Atacama logró un veredicto condenatorio en contra de un acusado a quien investigó por su responsabilidad en el delito de homicidio frustrado, esto luego que atacara a dos personas que salían del estadio de esta comuna con un objeto contundente.

Los hechos acreditados por el fiscal adjunto de esta ciudad, Luis Zepeda Rodríguez, en audiencia de Juicio Oral, dan cuenta que el día 28 de abril del año 2019, el condenado Maykol González Páez, abordó a un grupo de personas que salían de hacer deporte desde el Estadio “Nelson Rojas” de esta comuna, a quienes atacó con un objeto contundente, además de golpes de pies y puño.

De acuerdo a lo acreditado por la Fiscalía en la audiencia de Juicio, primero atacó al primer afectado quien sufrió lesiones menos graves. “Sin embargo, la segunda víctima fue atacada con un violento golpe en su cabeza por parte del acusado. Ocasionando lesiones graves que lo mantuvieron con riesgo vital y sólo pudo salir de esta condición con los esfuerzos de los médicos tratantes. A pesar de ello, las secuelas neurológicas fueron permanentes y no recuperables en el tiempo, debiendo en la actualidad ser asistido por terceros”, dijo el fiscal.

Por estos hechos, la Fiscalía investigó y acusó a González Páez por su responsabilidad en el delito de homicidio en grado de frustrado, siendo dicho delito acreditado durante el Juicio Oral motivo por el que los Jueces del mencionado tribunal sentenciaron al condenado a cumplir la pena de 9 años de presidio efectivo en la cárcel de esta ciudad.
