EXTRA: Evacúan a Vecinos de El Tránsito por fuertes precipitaciones y deslizamientos de tierra
Cerca de mil vecinos de la localidad rural de El Tránsito, al interior de la comuna de Alto del Carmen, están siendo evacuadas desde las 17:30 horas de hoy por fuertes precipitaciones que han provocado deslizamientos de tierra y la crecida del río.
A consecuencia de lo anterior, y como medida preventiva, las autoridades de la provincia resolvieron evacuar a la población que se ubica en los alrededores del sector la Plaza hacia zonas de mayor seguridad.
Se han registrado granizos y la lluvia a ratos se torna más intensa, según reportan autoridades de aquella zona.
La Oficina Nacional de Emergencia (ONEMI), realiza un monitoreo constante de la situación, ya que se han registrado también algunos problemas en la provincia de Copiapó, en la zona cordillerana y precordillerana, donde en la primera cae precipitación de tipo nieve, y en la segunda, en forma líquida, lo que mantiene todos los sistemas de emergencia activos.
