Estados Unidos impone nuevas sanciones a Irán
Estados Unidos determinó e impuso nuevas sanciones contra una empresa y un individuo relacionado con Irán, indica el comunicado en la página web del Ministerio del Tesoro estadounidense.
Se trata de Taif Mining Services LLC y el individuo en la lista negra, Amir Dianat, que, según el Ministerio, está vinculado a la Fuerza Quds de Irán.
«La Oficina de Control de Activos Extranjeros (OFAC) del Departamento del Tesoro de Estados Unidos designó hoy a Amir Dianat, doble nacional iraní e iraquí, asociado desde hace mucho tiempo a altos funcionarios de la Fuerza Quds de los Cuerpos de la Guardia Revolucionaria Islámica. Dianat, quien es también conocido como Amer Abdulazez Jaafar Almthaje, está involucrado en los esfuerzos de la Fuerza para generar ingresos y traficar con armas en el extranjero. OFAC también designa a Taif Mining Services LLC, una compañía de propiedad, controlada o dirigida por Dianat «, dice el comunicado.
