En Diego de Almagro: Todo listo para el desafío MTB Marathon Atacama Race 2019

El Consejo Regional de Atacama en conjunto con el Club Mountain Bike Cerro Desierto, se encuentran organizando el primer Desafío MTB Marathon Atacama Race 2019, y que se realizara el día domingo 8 de diciembre de 2019.


Se estableció que esta competencia ofrece parajes totalmente desérticos, con largada y meta en el oasis Quinta Los Chañares, pasando por senderos hacia la ciudad de Diego de Almagro, luego por caminos mineros hacia el tranque Pampa Austral, cruzando el portezuelo minero hacia camino Altamira, con rutas a campo traviesa en la pampa y quebradas, completando un total de 60 km.

Los organizadores informaron que cuentan con el apoyo logístico para seguir todo el circuito por vehículos motorizados y apoyo para los rezagados, zonas de abastecimiento, 6 (Punto control), vehículos de rescate de emergencia de Bomberos y Carabineros, además se premiaran hasta el tercer lugar en todas las categorías.

ORGANIZACIÓN Y LOGÍSTICA

La organización está conformada por un grupo de personas profesionales del área de la educación física, con vasta experiencia en el MTB, dispondrán de todos los medios de seguridad orientados a la protección y cuidado de cada corredor, Vehículos con rescatistas, comunicación radial en todo el circuito y personal de la organización que estarán orientados a dar facilidades y apoyo en caso que sea necesario.

La organización dispondrá de vehículos de apoyo en caso de accidentes para traslados en caso de atención médica.

Para el cumplimiento de las reglas de la competencia la organización dispondrá de un Director de Carrera, quien velara por el fiel cumplimiento de la misma. El Director de Carrera tendrá la facultad de descalificar a los corredores que no cumplan con las pautas de seguridad, comportamiento deportivo de los corredores o faltas que signifiquen peligro para el o el resto de los competidores. El Director de Carrera podrá solicitar a los corredores que se encuentren fuera de las horas asignadas a la competencia a que sea trasladado por los vehículos de apoyo que la organización ha dispuesto para este efecto al lugar de meta. El Director y jueces acompañaran a lo largo de toda la competencia a los corredores y será obligatorio pasar por todos los PC designados para la carrera, el no registro, será motivo de descalificación.


Toda consulta técnica de la carrera, como información general de esta será respondida por el Director de Carrera o por algún integrante de la organización designado.
Los corredores deberán cuidar el entorno natural en donde se desarrolle la competencia, incluyendo partida y llegada, quedando prohibido arrojar basura, ensuciar, destruir o contaminar, con descalificación inmediata de la actividad por parte de los jueces o Director de carrera.

INSCRIPCIONES

La inscripción será gratuita, por lo que dispondrá de un cupo máximo de 300 corredores, la apertura de inscripciones comenzó el 17 octubre y finalizarán a mas tardar el 5 de diciembre, o hasta agotar los 300 cupos disponibles.

El corredor o su apoderado, declara estar en conocimiento de las bases y reglamento del Primer Desafío MTB Marathon Atacama Race 2019 y tiene presente que el Mountain bike es un deporte riesgoso que puede ocasionar al participante accidentes traumáticos graves, riesgos que están asociados tanto a los entrenamientos como a las competencias. Por este acto, libera de toda responsabilidad a los organizadores, jueces, patrocinadores y auspiciadores ligados a este torneo.

Al ingresar al recinto donde se realiza este evento, el público asistente, acepta las condiciones descritas en el párrafo anterior y desliga de responsabilidad al Consejo Regional de Atacama y al Club MTB CERRO DESIERTO D.D.A. y sus directivos en caso de accidentes de cualquier tipo, siendo de su responsabilidad la prevención de los mismos. Los sectores del circuito donde circulan los competidores están debidamente marcados y se prohíbe al público general transitar por ellos.
