En Copiapó habrá 8 establecimientos educacionales para la vacunación que se inicia mañana

El municipio copiapino a través del Departamento de Salud ha realizado las coordinaciones pertinentes, a fin de iniciar mañana miércoles y en un total de 8 establecimientos educacionales, la primera etapa de vacunación contra el COVID-19, que beneficiará a adultos mayores. Esta fase se desarrollará hasta el día viernes 5 de febrero.

Detalles del proceso fueron entregados por el doctor, Alejandro Aguirre Zárate, subdirector técnico del Departamento de Salud Municipal.

“Después de un arduo trabajo en estos últimos días hemos logrado ponernos de acuerdo con los representantes de los colegios, y los puntos de vacunación van a ser ocho centros educacionales de distintos tipos en la comuna. Cada uno con 1 a 2 equipos de vacunación, dependiendo de las necesidades que vayamos teniendo y probablemente modificable, desde las 9 de la mañana y hasta las 5 de la tarde”, indicó.

Manifestó además que se considera una población del orden de los 8 mil a 10 mil adultos mayores los beneficiados en este proceso de vacunación, tanto beneficiarios de los Cesfam como de Isapres.

BENEFICIADOS:

En relación a la población beneficiada señaló que “la edad estaba centrada en población de mayores de 60 años y a nivel local lo que nos ha instruido la Seremi (de Salud) es que se vacune,-ojalá en forma gradual-, la mayor cantidad de población en estos tres días, extensible probablemente para la próxima semana. La idea es que en el primer día,- miércoles,- ojalá sean personas de 80 hacia arriba; el segundo de 70 hacia arriba y el tercero mayores de 60; pero no excluyendo la posibilidad de poder vacunar a otros grupos etáreos de adultos mayores”.

El subdirector técnico del Departamento de Salud Municipal de Copiapó puntualizó que “se buscó la idea que estos ocho establecimientos educacionales que vamos a colocar estén cerca del centro habitual en el cual ellos se podrían atender; sobre todo los pacientes Fonasa. Efectivamente podrán dirigirse a cualquiera de los centros de salud, pero lo ideal es que sea lo más cercano a lo que les corresponda como punto neurálgico de atención”.

Indicó también que “en esta primera dosis de la vacuna china Sinovac y posteriormente a eso se les va a entregar un carné en el cual se les va a dejar recordado que la próxima vacunación son 28 días posteriores. Ese es el mecanismo actual de la vacuna”.

El directivo añadió que de la planificación realizada por la Municipalidad de Copiapó fue informada tanto la Seremi como la Dirección de Salud.

De esta forma dichas instancias y a través de los medios de comunicación la población beneficiaria se informa de este proceso de vacunación.

Los adultos mayores beneficiados en esta fase deben llevar el carné de identidad, para validar la atención.

“Nosotros tenemos una cantidad estimada de 14 mil dosis, porque esta es la primera entrega de Sinovac. Todas estas vacunas quedan, como nos explicaron en la Seremi, con un efecto espejo, o sea, todos los que se vacunen hoy, queda guardada inmediatamente su segunda dosis. Va a ser más un proceso de vacunación; este va a ser el primero que, entre lo rápido que se nos informó y la logística ha sido complicado de poder definir, pero en el concepto global lo más probable es que existan nuevos procesos de vacunación abarcando al resto de la población”. “Hay que reconocer que la convocatoria nos pide inicialmente que el grupo objetivo es la población mayor de 60 años; pero también se hace mención también en el calendario nacional, de otras reparticiones públicas: Carabineros, Fuerzas de Orden, Servicios de Salud, y adicionalmente algunas unidades como supermercados,  farmacias y otros. Eso directamente lo va a coordinar la Seremi y de ahí vamos a ver si nos van a requerir como parte de los puntos de apoyo de ellos, o van a solucionarlo de otra manera”, apuntó el subdirector técnico de Salud Municipal de la capital regional.

A modo de recomendaciones, señaló que los adultos mayores que tengan algún grado de movilidad, sensorial, etc., lo ideal es que puedan acudir acompañados.

“La idea de esta vacunación es que si están sintomáticos, o algún resfrío o que pudiesen estar presentando síntomas de COVID, es preferible que informen a un centro de salud, para que sean evaluados, antes de acudir a vacunarse. Recordando también que la vacuna es voluntaria; no es obligatoria como otras campañas. Adicionalmente nuevamente abogar por la paciencia,- que si bien en este minuto estamos abocándonos a 3 días de vacunación,- no implican que puedan ser necesariamente los únicos; para evitar también los grandes atochamientos y los conflictos, que puede llevar a tener el hecho de que toda la gente se quiera vacunar”, dijo finalmente el doctor Aguirre Zárate.
