Declaran alerta temprana preventiva en cuatro comunas de Atacama
Copiapó, Tierra Amarilla, Alto del Carmen y Diego de Almagro serán blanco del evento meteorológico.
La Oficina Nacional de Emergencia del Ministerio del Interior (Onemi) Atacama declaró Alerta Temprana Preventiva para las comunas de Copiapó, Tierra Amarilla, Alto del Carmen y Diego de Almagro por posibles tormentas eléctricas registradas desde el viernes hasta el domingo.
La Dirección Meteorológica de Chile, por medio de su Aviso Meteorológico CNA 293/2019, indicó que entre el 27 y el 29 de diciembre, se prevé el probable desarrollo de este evento meteorológico en la cordillera de la Región de Atacama, el cual podría estar acompañado de precipitaciones de intensidad débil.
Este anuncio supone un aumento del riesgo asociado a estas variables meteorológicas, por lo que la Dirección Regional de Onemi declaró la alerta y mantendrá su vigencia hasta que las condiciones meteorológicas así lo ameriten.
La declaración de esta alerta se constituye como un estado de reforzamiento de la vigilancia, mediante el monitoreo preciso y riguroso de las condiciones de riesgo y las respectivas vulnerabilidades asociadas a la amenaza, coordinando y activando al Sistema de Protección Civil con el fin de actuar oportunamente frente a eventuales situaciones de emergencia.
