Consejo Minero y Fundación Chile desarrollan nuevo roadmap de innovación tecnológica para Minería 4.0
Con el fin de orientar e identificar aquellos ámbitos donde las nuevas tecnologías pueden agregar más valor en los próximos 15 años, el Consejo Minero junto a Fundación Chile dieron el puntapié inicial al desarrollo de una nueva hoja de ruta al año 2035, denominada “Innovación Tecnológica para la Minería 4.0”.
Carlos Urenda, gerente general del Consejo Minero, señaló que “la mayor y más rápida incorporación de innovación y tecnología en la industria minera es un tema fundamental para el Consejo Minero. Esto facilitará a nuestras empresas la solución de problemas operativos, pero también las ayudará a abordar de mejor forma desafíos en materia de sustentabilidad y de capital humano”.
En esta misma línea, Andrés Mitnik, director Desarrollo de Negocios en Minería de Fundación Chile, comentó que “uno de los principales objetivos de este roadmap es generar una visión compartida para la industria respecto de cómo abordar los desafíos de la minería 4.0. Aquí las respuestas están tanto en las compañías mineras como en los proveedores, por lo que es fundamental coordinar esfuerzos para maximizar la captura de valor. Además, deberemos abordar temas transversales, como gestión del cambio y capital humano. Este será el punto de encuentro para definir el camino a seguir en minería 4.0 y por ello es que estamos haciendo un llamado amplio a todos los actores a que se sumen a este proceso, para que no pierdan la oportunidad de contribuir”.
Modalidad El desarrollo de esta nueva Hoja de Ruta, que cuenta con la expertise técnica del equipo del Programa Interop, también busca habilitar unacartera de proyectos y actividades para el corto, mediano y largo plazo que apunte al desarrollo de laindustria 4.0 en minería, a lainteroperabilidad de los sistemas de información y la digitalización de la industria.
Además, servirá como una herramienta que permitirá guiar las decisiones tecnológicas en I+D, reduciendo el riesgo de inversiones en tecnología, ayudando a la industria a tomar control sobre las oportunidades de mercado, y disminuyendo las barreras de entrada para facilitar el ingreso de proveedores locales.
Su trabajo se extenderá por un período de cuatro meses y constará de cuatro etapas: estudio exploratorio de interoperabilidad; identificación de núcleos traccionantes y habilitantes; priorización de desafíos, soluciones y recursos humanos, tecnológicos, financieros e I+D; y validación de propuesta conceptual.
