Comité Olímpico Italiano manifestó su molestia por sospechas de dopaje de Marcell Jacobs
Giovanni Malagó, presidente del Comité Olímpico Nacional Italiano (CONI), reconoció este martes que siente «mucho disgusto» e incomodidad por las sospechas de dopaje mostradas por algunos medios internacionales sobre el italiano Marcell Jacobs, ganador del oro en los 100 metros de atletismo en Tokio 2020.
«Las consideraciones de algunos periodistas provocan mucho disgusto y también me ponen incómodo desde muchos puntos de vista. Siento que alguien demuestre que no sabe aceptar la derrota», afirmó Malagó, que acompaña a la delegación en Tokio, en declaraciones a los medios italianos.
«Contestó bien el entrenador de Marcell, Paolo Camossi. Hablamos de atletas sometidos a diario a controles antidopaje y, cuando logran un récord, todo se multiplica por dos. El número de controles es impactante. Por esta razón defiendo con fuerza a Marcell», zanjó.
