Colegio en Vallenar cierra proyecto en Biodiversidad Artrópoda y Endémica de la zona
Alumnos fortalecieron su educación ambiental mediante capacitaciones, ferias y difusión, para crear conciencia en la valorización de las especies endémicas y su conservación.

pesos fueron financiados por el Fondo de Protección Ambiental (FPA) para la
ejecución de un proyecto de capacitaciones, ferias y difusión para contribuir y
fortalecer la educación ambiental con la finalidad de crear conciencia en la
valorización de las especies endémicas y su conservación.
El programa fue realizado por el Centro de Padres y Apoderados de la Escuela Capitán Rafael Torreblanca de Vallenar, que este lunes realizó la ceremonia de cierre del proyecto denominado “Biodiversidad artrópoda, enseñamos y aprendemos entre todos”, la cual fue encabezada por el Secretario Regional Ministerial (Seremi) del Medio Ambiente, Guillermo Ready.
El objetivo de la iniciativa fue capacitar y difundir conocimiento medio ambiental y de entomofauna del sector a la comunidad a través de una feria ambulante entomológica que recorrió diversos establecimientos educacionales de la Comuna y que estuvo a cargo de los estudiantes de la escuela.
Ellos visitaron cada centro de estudios y expusieron el proyecto mediante micro seminarios donde se dieron a conocer los resultados de investigación de artrópodos del sector; así difundieron “la riqueza y el valor del medio ambiente y crearon intercambios de conocimiento ambiental entre los estudiantes”, de acuerdo con lo que mencionó el profesor Mauricio Campillay, coordinador del proyecto.
El Seremi Ready, por su parte, destacó que “una de las primeras actividades que hice como autoridad del medio ambiente en Atacama fue encabezar la ceremonia de cierre de un FPA y ahora es la tercera vez que me corresponde venir a esta escuela por un proyecto de este tipo, lo que demuestra el compromiso ambiental que tienen el profesorado, apoderados y alumnos del establecimiento educacional”.
Agregó que el verdadero desarrollo “se forma y se fortalece con una educación que contenga valores ambientales, sobre todo con el cambio climático, que es una amenaza evidente en los próximos años para toda la biodiversidad del planeta”.
En la actividad se presentaron diversos números artísticos organizados por los estudiantes, profesores y apoderados del establecimiento educacional y se entregaron galvanos y premios por la destacada participación de alumnos y docentes.
Asimismo, se destacó las salidas a terreno y talleres (abiertos a la comunidad) donde sensibilizaron a la comunidad en crear conciencia ambiental en cuanto al cuidado de la naturaleza y otros espacios públicos.
