Chile supera los 34 mil fallecidos por Covid-19
El Ministerio de Salud informó este martes que en las últimas 24 horas se registraron 1.278 casos nuevos y 36 fallecidos por Covid-19 en el país. Con este nuevo registro, se llegó a la cifra de 1.590.887 contagiados totales desde iniciada la pandemia, mientras la cifra total de fallecidos aumentó a 34.016.
Del total de nuevos contagios, 910 casos presentan síntomas, 292 casos son asintomáticos y 76 aún no se notifican. Además, 14.766 pacientes se encuentran en etapa activa y los casos recuperados son 1.540.595.
El balance del Minsal, además, señala que hay 2.332 pacientes en la UCI, de los cuales 1.891 están con apoyo de ventilación mecánica. Con relación a la Red Integrada de Salud, existe un total de 378 camas críticas disponibles.
En las últimas 24 horas se realizaron 29.823 PCR, con una positividad del 3,73 por ciento a nivel país y de 4 por ciento en la Región Metropolitana, alcanzando un total de 17.301.759 pruebas desde el inicio de la pandemia.
