Chile registró 1.920 casos nuevos y 52 decesos hasta la noche del jueves
Hasta las 21.00 horas de este jueves se reportaron en el país 1.920 casos nuevos, de los cuales 1.328 presentaron síntomas, 453 son asintomáticos y 496 son casos no notificados, a pesar de contar con una PCR positiva. Este fue el resultado del testeo de 28.669 muestras, con lo que también se supo que 52 de las personas que murieron durante los últimos días también tenían coronavirus.
El total de infectados con el virus en el país es de 393.769, de las cuales 367.897 estan recuperados, 10.723 murieron y 15.149 siguen activos. De este último grupo 4.330 están hospitalizados, siendo 1.072 los que ocupan una cama en las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI).
Actualmente hay 781 pacientes conectados a ventilación mecánica y 174 en estado crítico. El subsecretario de Redes Asistenciales, Arturo Zúñiga, dijo que, con el egreso hospitalario de varios de los afectados por el virus, se ha llegado a la disponibilidad de 550 respiradores artificiales en el país.
