Carabineros sorprende el traslado ilegal de 73 extranjeros que iban con destino a la Región Metropolitana
Los servicios preventivos y de fiscalización vehicular que desarrollaba personal de Carabineros de la Subcomisaria I.A.T. y Carreteras Atacama Norte en el sector de la Ruta 5 Norte, kilómetro 846, permitieron descubrir el traslado ilegal de 73 migrantes.
Las personas de diferentes nacionalidades y edades,- quienes ingresaron por un paso no habilitado al país,- eran trasladadas en un bus proveniente de la ciudad de Iquique y tenía como destino la región Metropolitana.
LOS HECHOS:
Según informó el Subteniente Javier Jara Seguel que este transporte ilegal de migrantes quedó al descubierto durante los controles preventivos vehiculares que realizaban. Fue al momento de fiscalizar al bus patente CRHF-88 que se detectó el transporte de estas 73 personas extrajeras 24 hombres, 31 mujeres y 18 menores de edad. Todos proveniente de la ciudad de Iquique y con destino a Santiago, quienes además habían ingresado por un paso no habilitado.
Ante tal situación es que al conductor del bus se le cursó la infracción de «trasportar pasajeros sin el permiso del Ministerio de Transportes» y se informó además al Departamento de Migraciones y Policía Internacional de Copiapó, la identificación y nacionalidad de cada una de estas personas, debido a que no es competencia del Ministerio Público.
MIGRANTES:
En las acciones desarrolladas se pudo establecer las nacionalidades de los migrantes: 8 colombianos, 31 bolivianos, 27 de venezolanos, 1 ecuatoriano y 6 de Cuba.
