Una camioneta marca Chevrolet, modelo Luv, color rojo avaluada en $3.000.000 de pesos que mantenía algún encargo vigente por el delito de robo, fue recuperada en el sector La Colina de Copiapó fue recuperada por los detectives adscritos a la Brigada de Investigación Criminal (Bicrim) de la Policía de Investigaciones (PDI)
Los oficiales policiales que realizaban diligencias investigativas propias de la especialidad, observaron el vehículo volcado sin ocupantes en su interior, lo que evidentemente llamó su atención, motivo por el cual consultaron el estatus de la placa patente para establecer su condición.
Una vez ingresada la información en el sistema, éste arrojó que registraba una denuncia por robo y con los antecedentes lograron individualizar al denunciante, quien señaló que la camioneta pertenecía a su suegro y que había sido llevada desde el frente del inmueble durante la madrugada.
Indicó, además, que luego de cursar la denuncia realizó una búsqueda del vehículo por diversos sectores de la comuna sin obtener resultados. La camioneta fue devuelta a su legítimo propietario, por instrucción del fiscal de turno. (FKG) / Con información de PDI)
