Atletas del Programa Promesas Chile del Mindep-IND Atacama cuentan con nueva implementación
En el Estadio Atlético Ramón Tapia Chambilla, el Seremi del Deporte, Guillermo Procuriza, y la Directora del IND Atacama, Maritza Vera, entregaron este miércoles nuevos implementos que ayudarán a una mejor preparación de los deportistas juveniles que son parte del programa Promesas Chile del Mindep-IND Atacama.
En la ocasión, las autoridades felicitaron el esfuerzo de los deportistas, entre los que se cuenta al lanzador de martillo, Javier Rivera, quien recientemente obtuvo el cuarto lugar en el Sudamericano Juvenil de Atletismo realizado en Lima, y los instaron a continuar con sus prácticas con el apoyo del Mindep-IND, siempre tomando las medidas sanitarias correspondientes
Igualmente, el Seremi del Deporte, destacó que el valor de los implementos asciende a 1 millón 300 mil pesos, y consta de martillos de lanzamientos de diferentes pesos, discos, alambres y manillas, todos marca Polanik, productos que debieron ser encargados a Polonia.
El técnico «Promesas Chile», Hevertt Álvarez, valoró esta entrega por el aporte que significan a la mejora de los entrenamientos de los jóvenes deportistas.
