Arsene Wenger propuso un radical cambio a la regla del off side para evitar polémicas con el VAR
El ex técnico y actual director de Desarrollo Mundial del Fútbol de la FIFA, Arsene Wenger, propuso un radical cambio a la regla deloff side con el fin de evitar polémicas debido al milimétrico análisis que hace el VAR para cobrar esta infracción.
El otrora estratega francés dijo que con esta modificación «no estarás fuera de juego si alguna parte del cuerpo que puede marcar un gol está en línea con el último defensor, incluso si otras partes del cuerpo están por delante. Ya no habrá decisiones por milímetros».
El nuevo cargo de Wenger en el organismo regidor del balompié mundial tiene relación directa con la Internatioal Board (IFAB), el ente encargado de gestionar el reglamento del fútbol.
La IFAB se reunirá el próximo 29 de febrero para votar sobre este cambio, para el cual se necesitan seis de ocho votos para su aprobación.
