Alumnos con deficientes de aprendizaje inician taller de teatro

Estudiantes de entre 4 y 15 años que asisten al centro pedagógico My School en El Palomar recibirán capacitaciones actorales en la Escuela de Teatro Municipal dirigida por la profesora Monserrat Calahorra.

Los 40 alumnos que asisten al centro psicopedagógico My School, ubicado en El Palomar, iniciaron este jueves un taller de teatro que busca trabajar las áreas emocionales donde -según las evaluaciones realizadas por los profesionales que los atienden- se ven apreciadas algunas de sus carencias.

La psicopedagoga Paola Olivares González, especialista en dificultades de aprendizaje y trastornos de déficit atencional, explicó que el proyecto se extenderá hasta el mes de julio y que los niños y jóvenes asistirán todos los jueves de 13:30 a 17:30 horas a la Escuela de Teatro Municipal, la cual es dirigida por la profesora Monserrat Calahorra.

La directora del centro diseñó este plan de trabajo en conjunto con los cinco profesionales que trabajan con ella para estimular las conductas de los alumnos, ya que en las evaluaciones psicopedagógicas hechas cuando ingresan al establecimiento, reflejan que no solo tienen dificultades de aprendizaje, sino también emocional.

Por ello el programa 2020 contempla un enfoque directo a la armonía de los estudiantes; en verano, por ejemplo, se trabajó con talleres emocionales y de yoga, y ahora se concentrarán en el teatro para que recuperen la confianza y la autoestima de modo que puedan conocer y controlar sus emociones, así como descubrir la importancia de trabajar en equipo y desenvolverse frente al público.

“La idea es desarrollar en ellos la expresión verbal y corporal que es en donde más tienen dificultades, así como estimular la capacidad de la memoria y agilidad mental”, puntualizó Olivares, quien además tiene especialización de lectoescritura con el método Sada que “ha arrojado exitosos resultados en los dos años que lleva implementándose en Copiapó”.

La noticia sobre la participación en el taller de teatro no solo emocionó a los 40 alumnos de entre 4 y 15 años, de los cuales algunos son becados, sino también a sus apoderados, quienes agradecieron las estrategias de enseñanza que se implementan en la institución.

La profesora dijo que al término del taller los niños van a mostrar su obra de teatro en la Sala de Cámara de la Municipalidad de Copiapó.
