Administrador Diocesano invita a asunción del nuevo Obispo Ricardo Morales Galindo
Una cordial invitación a la feligresía católica de Atacama, efectuó el Administrador Diocesano de Copiapó, religioso Jaime Pizarro Díaz, para participar de lo que será la ceremonia de asunción del nuevo Obispo, Ricardo Morales Galindo, programada para el sábado 12 de septiembre, a contar de las 10.00 horas en la Iglesia Catedral.
Manifestó “queridos hermanos de la Iglesia en Atacama. Con gran alegría quiero invitarles a que se unan a la ordenación episcopal del nuevo Obispo que el Señor nos envía; es el padre Ricardo Morales a quien ya hemos presentado en otras ocasiones. Él será consagrado Obispo el próximo sábado 12 de septiembre a las 10 de la mañana en la Catedral de Copiapó. Desgraciadamente no podremos acompañarlo al interior de la Catedral por razón de la pandemia que estamos viviendo; pero todos podremos unirnos a ese momento tan importante en la vida de la Iglesia, como es su ordenación como Obispo y también la entrada ya de la Iglesia de Atacama como pastor».

Jaime Pizarro Díaz añadió en su convocatoria que “el Obispo no es solamente una figura administrativa; el Obispo es sucesor de los apóstoles. Es la garantía de la comunión de todas las parroquias, personas, de la Iglesia; pero sobre todo de la comunión con el Señor Jesús. Él es apóstol, sucesor de los apóstoles y nos garantiza que el Evangelio que se predica y que queremos hacer vida es el que viene del mismo Señor”.
