Ad portas a aniversario 93º: Carabineros consolida trabajo preventivo con disminución en delitos
Una nueva semana de trabajo reforzado y focalizado de los servicios preventivos ha permitido a Carabineros de Atacama disminuir los delitos de mayor connotación social en la mayoría de las comunas de la región. A través de este trabajo, se ha logrado disminuir las cifras, llegando hoy a -3%, en la semana del 13 al 19 de abril y en -0% en lo que va corrido del año, con respecto a igual período del 2019.
“Ha sido un gran trabajo el que estamos realizando en este período de pandemia, el cual a parte de las acciones de prevención y difusión sobre el autocuidado en cuarentena por el coronavirus, también nos hemos enfocado a evitar los delitos de mayor connotación social, para llegar a esta cifra que no habíamos podido alcanzar producto del alza que tuvimos en el período estival. Estamos muy optimistas en mantener estos indicadores que nos arroja el último informe del STOP, correspondiente a la semana del 13 al 19 de abril ”, destacó el Jefe de la III Zona, general Juan Pablo Caneo.
No obstante ello, este análisis refleja que a la fecha aún hay delitos como las lesiones, el robo en lugar habitado y robo en lugar no habitado donde hay que poner énfasis, para prevenirlos y disminuir su ocurrencia. “En lo que corresponde a nuestro trabajo, como Carabineros estamos reorientando nuestros servicios en aquellos lugares donde se han hecho denuncias de estos casos, pero es muy importante que la ciudadanía nos apoye a través de la denuncia y también por medio de la prevención y autocuidado”, sostuvo el general Caneo.
En cuanto a las estadísticas, el general de Carabineros en Atacama destacó más adelante “adportas de nuestro Aniversario institucional No 93 se consolida nuestro trabajo en materia de prevención y control de los delitos de mayor connotación social, hecho positivo que se ha logrado con el apoyo permanente de las autoridades de Gobierno y los servicios involucrados en estos temas”.
Respecto a estas estadísticas de la semana en análisis indicó que los delitos violentos que experimentaron una disminución significativa es el robo con violencia -88%, robó por sorpresa 40%.
Respecto de los delitos contra la propiedad estos también disminuyeron, este es el caso del robo de vehículo, con un -92%, otros robos con fuerza que disminuyó -50% y el delito de hurto que disminuyó un -31%, durante la semana del 13 al 19 de abril y en comparación a igual período del 2019. Es importante señalar que estos delitos también presentaron una disminución durante los últimos 28 días, con respecto a la misma fecha del año pasado.
En materia de prevención la máxima autoridad de Carabineros dijo que dispuso fortalecer los servicios focalizados este fin de semana que para muchos fue fin de semana largo, por tanto se ha fortalecido aquellos lugares y horas de mayor ocurrencia de delitos violentos (D.M.C.S.), delitos contra la propiedad, y otros vinculados al tráfico y consumo de drogas y aquellos destinados a disminuir la sensación de inseguridad en la ciudadanía.
Del mismo modo, dispuso fortalecer los niveles de control y fiscalización, tanto en calidad como cantidad, con énfasis en las unidades territoriales en las cuales se puede correlacionar menor cantidad de controles y fiscalizaciones y aumento de delitos violentos o contra la propiedad. No obstante ello, el llamado también es a denunciar los delitos o hechos de violencia que la ciudadanía pueda ser partícipe o tener conocimiento.
