Abiertas solicitudes para cambio de domicilio electoral

La directora regional de Servel Atacama, María Isabel Barón informó que contar del 01 de noviembre fue abierto el proceso de las solicitudes de cambio de domicilio electoral para las elecciones de 2021

Dicho trámite se realizará de forma online con Clave Única (www.servel.cl).

Además que de lunes a viernes también podrá ser realizado en las Direcciones Regionales de Servel en horarios de 10:00 a 14:00 horas.

“Desde el 1 de noviembre y hasta la medianoche del 21 del mismo mes, quienes necesiten realizar la solicitud de cambio de domicilio electoral para las elecciones de abril de 2021 podrán realizarlo en línea con su Clave Única. El trámite, que no es obligatorio, sino solo para quienes lo necesiten también podrá realizarse de lunes a viernes, sin clave única, manera presencial en las Direcciones Regionales de Servel y otros organismos como Registro Civil y Chile Atiende”, añadió la autoridad.

ELECCIONES 2021

Precisó María Isabel Barón que el cierre del proceso de cambio de domicilio es con miras al proceso electoral del año 2021, no para las Elecciones Primarias de Gobernadores Regionales y Alcaldes del 29 de noviembre de 2020. El 21 de noviembre se realiza el cese de las actualizaciones del Registro Electoral de la ciudadanía (nombres, domicilios electorales e inhabilidades legales, entre otros), para posteriormente generar un nuevo padrón.

Recalcó la directora del Servel Atacama que Por domicilio electoral se entiende aquel situado dentro de Chile, con el cual la persona tiene un vínculo objetivo, sea porque reside habitual o temporalmente, ejerce su profesión u oficio o desarrolla sus estudios en él. En el caso de los ciudadanos con derecho a sufragio que se encuentren en el extranjero, el domicilio electoral es aquel situado fuera de Chile, declarado como tal por el elector.
