Despidos por necesidad de la empresa subieron 145 por ciento durante diciembre
La Dirección del Trabajo (DT) dio cuenta de un fuerte aumento de los despidos de trabajadores por la causal de necesidades de la empresa durante diciembre.
De acuerdo a las cifras entregadas por la entidad, 101.827 personas perdieron su empleo por la causal determinada en el artículo 161 inciso 1 del Código del Trabajo, lo que representa 145 por ciento más que en igual periodo del año anterior, el peor resultado desde el inicio del estallido social.
«En diciembre tuvimos finalmente 101.827 despidos por la causal de necesidades de la empresa, lo que representa un incremento de un 145 por ciento respecto de igual periodo del año anterior y está muy por sobre la cantidad de despidos de un mes promedio», sostuvo el subsecretario del Trabajo, Fernando Arab.
